Job Overview
The Senior HR Manager will lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources Management (HRM), Human Resources Development (HRD), Organizational Development (OD), Payroll, Compensation & Benefits (C&B), Compliance, and Data Protection (DPO function) for Bonjour Bakery Asia (BJBA).
This role is both strategic and operational, serving as a trusted HR Business Partner to senior management while remaining hands-on in execution. The position requires strong leadership capability, structured HR governance experience, and the ability to drive people strategy in a fast-paced F&B / retail environment.
The successful candidate must be capable of building robust HR systems, strengthening internal controls, and aligning people strategy with business expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Governance

Develop and execute HR strategy and annual HR action plans aligned with business growth and operational objectives

Act as HR Business Partner to CEO, GM, and department heads

Establish and maintain HR governance frameworks, policies, SOPs, and internal controls

Strengthen HR compliance standards and ensure audit readiness

Prepare HR reports and materials for management review, board meetings, and external audits
2. HR Operations (Hands-On Leadership)

Oversee full employee lifecycle (hire-to-exit) across retail stores, factory, and head office

Provide advisory support on employment contracts, probation, confirmation, disciplinary actions, termination, and severance

Manage employee relations, grievances, and sensitive HR cases

Ensure full compliance with Thai labor law and internal regulations

Coordinate with Legal on HR governance and employment matters
3. Recruitment & Workforce Planning

Lead manpower planning aligned with business expansion

Manage recruitment for:

Retail bakery stores
-
Production / factory roles
-
Head office and support functions
-

Oversee mass recruitment (store staff, supervisors) and management-level hiring

Develop competency frameworks, interview tools, and structured evaluation processes

Manage recruitment agencies and external partners
4. Payroll & Compensation Management

Oversee monthly payroll for BJBA, BJ, and PR (salary, OT, incentives, commissions)

Personally execute payroll for BJBA

Ensure compliance for Social Security, Tax filings (PND.1, PND.1Kor), and statutory benefits
-
Design and manage salary structures, bonus schemes, commission plans, and annual increment processes

Provide payroll cost analysis and HR budget control to management
5. Compliance, Audit & Legal Coordination

Act as HR focal point for internal and external audits (e.g., KPMG)

Prepare payroll and compliance documentation for audit review

Liaise with Labour Office, Social Security Office, Revenue Department

Manage labor dispute coordination and employment documentation

Ensure compliance with PDPA and act as Data Protection Officer (DPO)
6. Visa & Work Permit Management

Oversee end-to-end visa and work permit processes for expatriates

Coordinate with Immigration and Department of Employment

Prepare HR documentation under POA

Ensure full immigration compliance
7. HRD & Organizational Development
-
Develop and execute annual training plans and budgets
-
Design onboarding and leadership development programs

Build performance management systems, KPIs, and evaluation tools

Support succession planning and talent development
-
Drive employee engagement, culture initiatives, and change management
-
Support organizational design and reporting structure improvements

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience

Experience in food & beverage, retail, manufacturing, or fast-paced multi-unit environments preferred

Strong knowledge of Thai labor law and HR compliance practices

Experience in group-level or regional HR management is an advantage

Fluent in Thai and English
